Blog 5 & 6

Blog 5:
Wendy hasn't been going to school at all. Because of her mothers supposed death. Wendy says she can only take in so much at a time so she's taking it step by step. All of Wendy's family is coming over and trying to help out. One's by the phone and watching over Wendy, and the other is out looking around and still passing out flyer's. Josh has been taking this harder then Wendy. He tells her everyday how everything is going to be okay and they will be able to move on. Her little brother Louie is still at his friends house waiting to hear the "good" news if Mom has come home yet. The tragedy of 9/11 had an affect on many people. Over 19 terrorists and 2,988 victims. Not only is 13 year old Wendy saddened by the loss of her mother but imagine 2,988 victims family still mourning over the loss of their friend of family member.

Blog 6:
Wendy's friend comes over after school to visit and see how she's recovering. Amelia asks her how shes been and wondering why she hasn't come to school. Soon enough Wendy will believe that her mom is gone and not coming back. Her friend Amelia tries and tries to convince her that things will get better but Wendy has lost all confidence. Wendy's not ready to move on and maybe even live with her father but there is a big chance that she may just have to. Loosing anyone in a family is very hard; weather is over sudden death,accident, sickness,etc. Someone who has to loose their mother or father or even any family member can be the hardest thing to pull through. Wendy doesn't know what decision she is going to make.
